Yelling Cricket Club Annual Presentation Supper held 21 October 2011.
Following a successful season the club celebrated with a 4 course supper in Yelling village Hall where the following presentations were made. In the absence of Gordon Ascroft (President) who was unwell, Denise Hall (Club treasurer) made the presentations. During the evening Bryan Topham was also presented with an engraved silver plate in recognition of his 50 years of playing for Yelling Cricket Club.

Yelling Cricket Club hosted it’s annual presentation Supper on Friday 18 February 2011 where Aaron Johnson and Dominic Ascroft-Walker picked up most of the silver ware! Aaron was presented with Best Batting Performance and Best Batting Average trophies by Gordon Ascroft (President) and team mate Dominic Ascroft-Walker scooped the Best Bowling Average and Best Bowling Performance trophies. Carol Johnson was presented with a bouquet of flowers for her unending commitment to providing teas for the Club. John Tack, Chairman, and Alan Johnson (Captain) gave thanks to all the players and those involved with the team and the ground.

Yelling’s all-rounder, Dominic Ascroft-Walker, helped Eltisley to win the Coote Cup in July. They won playing against the first team of top club, Warboys, who regularly field 3 teams. Dom was also named Man of the Match.
